These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chicago Roofing Team website and our roofing services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Chicago Roofing Team provides residential and commercial roofing services including roof replacement, roof repair, storm damage restoration, metal roofing installation, gutter installation, roof inspection, and related services in the Chicago, Illinois metropolitan area. All services are subject to a written estimate and contract agreed upon by both parties prior to commencement of work.
All estimates provided by Chicago Roofing Team are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Estimates are based on our inspection findings and may be adjusted if hidden damage is discovered during the project (e.g., rotted decking, structural issues). Any additional costs will be communicated to you and approved in writing before work proceeds.
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise specified in your contract. We accept cash, check, credit card, and approved financing through our lending partners. For insurance claims, we accept assignment of benefits and work directly with your insurance carrier. Your deductible is due upon project completion.
Chicago Roofing Team provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on all roof installations, covering defects in installation that result in leaks or material failure. This warranty is in addition to manufacturer material warranties, which vary by product and are subject to manufacturer terms. Warranty claims must be reported to us in writing within 30 days of discovery. Our warranty does not cover damage caused by acts of God, unauthorized modifications, failure to maintain the roof, or normal wear and tear.
You may cancel a signed contract within 3 business days of signing without penalty, in accordance with Illinois law. Cancellations after the 3-day period may be subject to a fee covering materials ordered and work already performed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chicago Roofing Team's liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Chicago Roofing Team maintains general liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000 and full workers' compensation insurance for all employees. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Fulton County, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
